2011 Committee Roles:
- Chairperson
- Responsible for the day to day running of the club. Oversees all the other committee and non committee roles. Chairs the regular committee meetings and AGM.
- Secretary
- Prepares the agenda for each committee meeting. Writes the minutes at meetings. This role can be expanded.
- Treasurer
- Keeps a record of and handles the clubs money. Provides financial feedback at every committee meeting and an annual financial report.
- Membership Secretary
- Welcomes new runners to the club, provides information and support. Provides application packs and membership forms for new members and renewal forms for existing members. Keeps a record of all members, new runners and membership fees received.
- Race Series Coordinator
- Organises the ABRaS 10k series
- Club Captains – Mens and Womens
- Active members of the club who race and train regularly with ABRaS. Encourage and remind members to enter races, keep members informed on races. Get to know members and encourage members to be involved with ABRaS. Coordinates and updates Club Records.
- IT
- Responsible for providing the club's presence on the Net: Website,Mailing Lists, Forum, etc. Leads or assists with material inputted on the website. Provides IT support for ABRaS races.
- Marketing
- Sponsorship and press . Currently vacant position. Please let us know if you can help
